Language breaks down in the face of disaster. No longer able to capture an excess of despair, loss or possibly even happiness, we find ourselves bound to the tactile world of bodies and materiality to fully comprehend emotional extremity. With this in mind, it is with great pleasure that I highly recommend the "Threads of Feeling" exhibit at the Art Museums of Williamsburg (a travelling exhibition organized by the Foundling Museum of London).
