What We Do

  • We are a NON-PROFIT project offering a list of DECORATIVE ARTS + DESIGN EXHIBITIONS searchable by CITY, COUNTRY OR OPENING MONTH, as well as specially commissioned reviews, articles and interviews. We support research and thoughtful analyses of the curation and exhibition of design. For a complimentary listing contact Joanne Molina at Joanne@CuratedObject.us We'd love to hear from you!

Our Philosophy

  • Sometimes whispering and other times shouting, objects have their own time and cadence. The Curated Object is interested in the exhibition of objects and those who find our engagement with them compelling. Objects act out all the time and revolt against us. Listening carefully is our quest.

Marie Gibbons

Thank You JoAnn! I so appreciate your sharing your wonderful words and my tile works! I have come to realize through speaking about these pieces with you that tiles are really so relaxing for me to create... like doodling, or sketching but directly on clay instead of in a sketch book...I am about to start a new series of tile based on the idea of old school tattoo imagery that I can't wait to get started on... now to find the spare time!

Ms. Gibbons! Thank you so much for stopping by and savoring JoAnn's wonderful article. I know all of our readers are so excited to read her column and learn about fascinating artists like yourself. Thank you for bringing so much beauty and poetry to the world.
